Mobhare Matinyi, mchambuzi wa masuala ya kisiasa mjini Washington anasema huwenda hata wagombea hao wakatokea sare kwa kupata kura sawa za wajumbe wa baraza la majimbo ambapo kuna wajumbe 538.

Anasema hali hiyo ikijitokeza basi itakuwa ni juu ya bunge jipya kumchagua Rais na Makamu Rais. Katika uchaguzi wa rais wa Marekani mgombea anahitaji kupata kura 270 za wajumbe wa majimbo ili kuweza kuchukua madaraka.
Bwana Matinyi anasema, wagombea wakipata kura 269 kila mmoja basi Baraza la Wawakilishi linamchagua rais na Baraza la Senet linamchagua Makamu Rais.Kuna uwezekano wa kuwepo na Rais wa chama kimoja na Makamu Rais kutoka chama kingine kwa kutegemea chama gani kinadhibiti mabaraza hayo mawili.
